Yeah, there are always exceptions. :-) I mentioned archiving to my boss. He says that HP has an archiving solution (based on their EVA line of SANs). Who knows? We'll see ....

EMC also has an archiving solution - EmailXtender. I am not recommending this to you as I don't know the product, but it should be worth a look.
