yes. And they continue to get more and more hits of less and less quality due
to redundant threads started by people who did not.

But I believe the OP did actually search, since he links to a relevant
BackupPC wiki page, and was asking for further clarification. I'll try to
update the wiki page to actually answer the question he had (or at least
part of it).

I must admit, though, that I did not read the thread you are referring to, so
you might be right that the necessary clarification was given there.
