Are you accessing /dev/st0 or /dev/nst0 ?
If st0 then this is expected - /dev/st* are _rewinding_ tape devices.
You must _always_ use /dev/nst0 with bacula or you will get weird results.
Hello,
I tried using "/dev/nst0" but the error says "backup kernel: st0: Sense Key: Medium Error [current]."
Device { Name = LTO-4 Media Type = LTO-4
Archive Device = / dev/nst0 AutomaticMount = yes; # when device opened, read it
AlwaysOpen = yes; RemovableMedia = yes; RandomAccess = no;
Maximum File Size = 50GB Changer Command = "/ usr / libexec / bacula / mtx-changer% c% o% S% a% d"
Changer Device = / dev / changer Autochanger = yes
}
I will continue my investigation.
Thank you.
