That is a tape error, not a Bacula error.
Step outside bacula for a moment and use HP's Library and Tape tools or other diagnostics to solve errors BEFORE trying to continue.
What user is bacula-sd running as?
root
What are the ownership and permissions on /dev/nst0
crw-rw---- 1 root tape 9, 128 Fev 15 13:59 nst0
What does "mt -f /dev/nst0 status" give you?
[root@backup ~]# mt -f /dev/nst0 status SCSI 2 tape drive: File number=0, block number=0, partition=0. Tape block size 0 bytes. Density code 0x46 (LTO-4).
Soft error count since last status=0 General status bits on (41010000): BOT ONLINE IM_REP_EN

Noting the outcome of the command, I realized that it shows SCSI when, in fact, the connection is SAS. Is this normal?
