So what am I looking for?  There is an awful lot of info in there.
Is there some text I can grep for which indicates error messages or
something?

It seems to be about the right amount.

Old habits :-)  I knew there was a more efficient way - really should
get around to start using it.

I don't understand what you mean.    Do you want to see my config
file?   I have a /etc/BackupPC/config.pl which I edited to the best of
my ability.

Good eye!   Yeah, auth works fine.  I just fixed that quote issue but no change.
