No, the absolute path spec will be ignored.  However, if you have a 
"mac" directory you don't want skipped thats in a different 
filesystem/partition, then one can copy the dumptype specification 
to a slightly different name right there in your amanda.conf, and 
point the disklist entry to that one, which uses a different 
exclude file, or none at all.

I don't know if that will work or not, I haven't tried it here.  I 
know, thats my fault :-)
