OK. I had been using "mysqladmin processlist" which ultimately churns
out the same information looks like. It appears as if the MySQL syntax
for the command (if we're talking about the same thing) is actually
"SHOW FULL PROCESSLIST."

I was apparently using my-medium.cnf without having read exactly what
that was going to mean. This machine is primarily the database server
and certainly there are no quality of service issues with other
processes at the times this thing is really going to be churning. It is
also multi-CPU and my-medium.cnf doesn't do any thread concurrency.

I apparently do not, but I did step up to my-large.cnf at least which
does seem to have some important differences. I'll see what happens.

Any comment on the indexes I pasted earlier? Maybe they're hard to read
and that's why I don't get any feedback on them? I'm reluctant to strip
anything out, not knowing 100% what they mean.
