Hi all,

I'm using BackupPC since years for a couple of Linux servers and it
works like a charm.

I have included some Windows XP/7 machines, too. Appears to work like a
charm, too.

Unfortunately I recently realized on a single machine the backed up
directory structure is not correct. :-/

BackupPC version is 3.2.1 running on a CentOS6 server.
Backup Method is SMB.
Client is a Win7 Prof, being member of a AD Domain.
The backuppc User is created in the AD structure as a backup user and a
domain admin user.
The share C is created on the Win7 machine and configured to full access
for the backuppc user.

I verified I can logon with username and password from the backuppc
machine with smbclient to the share and I can cd to every folder in
question and download every file.

It might be related to the Win7 symbolic link issues, but I don't have
the knowledge to figure them out- and I'm not suree if it's related.
The only post I found was from 2011 and the OP did not get a proper reply.

So this is what I see with smbclient:

There are absolutely NO errors in the hosts logfiles.

Any idea where I can go for troubleshooting?

Thanks

Christian
