For those not familiar with dd, it doesn't display progress when working.
And dd'ing a 2 TB drive can take a long time. If you want progress, use this:

dd dd if=/dev/sdb1 bs=1M | pv | dd of=/dev/sdc1 bs=1M

pv is great.
