Michal, Jeffrey, and Adam,
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. You are right, I have no
idea why I was trying to do it the way I was. I actually did search through
my e-mail repository archive but didn't find anything (but that doesn't mean
it wasn't there).
To remind myself (and anyone else) in the future:
http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/backuppc/index.php?title=Move_backup_datahttp://backuppc.sourceforge.net/faq/BackupPC.html
*Stop BackupPC
su __BACKUPPCUSER__
cd NEW_TOPDIR
mkdir pc
cd pc
__INSTALLDIR__/bin/BackupPC_tarPCCopy __TOPDIR__/pc | tar xvPf -
Again, thank you all for helping (with a prompt response) and my apologies
for asking this silly question.
Thanks,
Ryan
