Hi,

netstat says:
============================
tcp        0      0 *:amandaidx             *:*                     LISTEN
udp        0      0 *:amanda                *:*
============================

Distribution is Gentoo Linux 1.4.
I'm using xinetd, /etc/hosts.{deny,allow} doesn't exist.

Any ideas?

Nice greetings,
Christoph
