"due", payable, owed, expected

The bills are due to be payed this week.

Ok for due, I guess it means I will have to backup that host in two days, and that other in three days.

But for overdue ? Does this mean I **will** have to backup that host yesterday ? :o)

No...that just means that for some reason it was unable to backup that server and that it needs to. Check your logs to see if anything failed recently.

Overdue can be read as "Past Due" or late...not yet received...whereas due is more "pending"...babel.altavista.com might be able to get it into a language you understand better but the translations can be laughable.
