Thanks James,
I had tried the datasheets section and the TEC datasheet has no real details
about
the NetView integration and the Technical Documentation section obviously hasn't
been updated for TEC. The Solutions part of the website again just has
one-liners
on TEC / NetView integration and TEC / CNAT integration.

Although you say there are still 2 NetViews, the Tivoli Products A-Z list does
NOT
give that impression. There are entries for "IBM Tivoli NetView" and "IBM
Tivoli
NetView for z/OS" but the detail in both is mainframe - no sign of support for
Unix / NT platforms. Bookmarked links to distributed NetView product details,
such as the Cisco integration stuff, are now broken.

If NetView is becoming part of TEC, does that mean that the new ability to
install
NetView WITHOUT the requirement for Framework will go away again, and folk will
not only have to install Framework, but also an RDBMS, RIM and TEC???

Many thanks,
Jane
