Charlie,

StorageTek (Sun) still has limited OS support of ACSLS. I'm running
ACSLS on Sun, but I've not have the problems Jeff has described from a
previous thread. I have SLES 8 and 9 Media Servers (5.1.MP3a) setup
with QLogic HBA's that recognize native FC HP LTO II tapes drives via a
12000 switch with no problems.

My 2 cents.

Scott

Is ACSLS running on your master/media server - Last I looked it only
supported Solaris and maybe AIX - that might be a killer for using
ACSLS on linux. Are you sharing your robot with others? Is there any
reason to use ACSLS? TLD control works just fine for those robots and
is far less expensive to implement than ACSLS.
