What is your max fragment size set to on your storage unit. We used to keep
ours set to "0" till we relaized how long a tape mount/position can take on a
very large system (as much as a half a day). We set ours to 2000 and get faster
restores on the large envirnments. We did find (back when we had it set to
"0"). If we just let it sit, it will restore.

Is your mount timeout set to "0"?
