Backups work fine though.  Just in case, however, I ran robtest and all my 
drives show OK. Thanx anyway.

When this happened to me, it was because there was something wrong with my
SCSI bus.  My tape library's robotic controller couldn't detect half of 
the
slots in the library.  NetBackup, however, didn't know there was a 
problem,
and so it would wait forever, "waiting for media... to be mounted."

I discovered what was wrong by using "robtest" to scan slots.
