No, that actually controls whether or not the "save" command gets
an additional argument (-s server_network_interface), not what nsrexecd
gets for command line flags.

You generally only mess with server network interface when your server has
multiple nics on multiple different networks (e.g. multi-homed).

Any of initial Solaris/Redhat startup script haven't any kind of hint of
-s flag.

Carsten is thinking of long ago, when the startup scripts on some
platforms used to specify the allowed servers via the -s option.  You're
correct that most current UNIX/Linux start/stop scripts don't do that
anymore.

We're not running NetWorker 8.x yet, but some of this may change at
NetWorker 8 because of the new config file that the daemon reads.
