Re: [Networker] NetWare throughput

Back on this topic.
Thanks to all who responded with their insite, suggestions and enlightenment
that I'm not the only one in this universe experiencing such 'paranormal'
activities on my NetWare servers backup process.
It is indeed a case of 'little indians' vs. 'big indians', I have the same
server with same O/S, patch and Networker version, but with bigger files
(AutoCAD server), but the completion time on FULL backup is almost half the
time of the file server with about 2 million small files in it.
It would be nice if storage is cheaper, then we can create a snapshot of this
750 GB volume and backup that snapshot as an entire volume, but the challenge
is when there is a file restore request. Need to restore the entire volume
somewhere to be able to get 1 or 2 files from the backup.
