Hello,
Depending on what you can do and not , you may have couple of options.
1. Upgrade your hardware on the netware client-if you have more processing 
power, you might do better, add additional CPU if you cannot obtain new 
server. ( after confirming that CPU is defiantly your bottleneck)
2. Break up the data into few more saveset if possible, Migrate\Expire any 
data that can be.
3. Use multiple client with different scedules\backup times.
4. Use Networker SN facility.
5. Don't know the exact name of the module, but Networker Powersnap etc 
will speed up the process
6.Use VTL or Disk based backup if you have the Licences and facility.
