There are several implementations of the console program; the most basic
one, "bconsole", is a simple command-line interface that I often use
over SSH. The one you are referring to is most likely the wxWidgets
implementation, which indeed is a GUI; but beyond a nice point-and-click
interface for restores, it offers no functionality that the command-line
bconsole does not offer.

However, you appear to be interested in something that can manage
configuration, too. This is not something that bconsole offers.
