We are quite sure.  Postive.  100%.  I think the "blocks of binary" 
question is moot.

To be clear: Bacula does not store backups in the Catalog.  The Catalog 
contains only meta-data.  For example: File abc was backed up on Client 
XYZ and was included in Job GHI run at 12:34 am on July 4th, 2008.

Your backups are stored on tape or disk, completely outside the database.
