I understand.  You want to be able to do a restore while a backup is 
running.

Yes, that can be done.

I'm guessing you are backing up to disk.

I am not sure if you can reserve one spot for a restore and not have it 
used by backup jobs.  Perhaps someone else can help.

I also thought about having another SD device, just for restores.  You 
could try that.
