Hello John

Sorry for the late feedback; I just wanted to let the things running for 
some time before reporting any results.

In fact setting the option 'Offline on Unmount' to 'no' solved the 
problem! In the past two weeks bacula had no problem at all to detect 
and mount the correct tape.
Besides, as the tape is now always rewound, the operator responsible of 
changing the tapes does not have to wait for the tape to be ejected; 
this happens almost immediately after pressing the eject button.
