turn on debug in the mtx-changer script, and watch what happens when you

./mtx-changer /dev/sg0 list /dev/nst0 0
./mtx-changer /dev/sg0 load 4 /dev/nst0 0
./mtx-changer /dev/sg0 unload 4 /dev/nst0 0
