Correct, AIT1 on SATA port.

dmesg reports this:
st0: MTSETDRVBUFFER only allowed for root
Might this be the root of all evil? Bacula shows no append errors. I
suppose by 'btape tests' you mean the tests in bacula manual chapter 37,
'Testing Your Tape Drive With Bacula'; yes, I did run these tests.
Probably I should rerun them and note the results?
