Sounds interesting, can you please send me the link? I'd love to take look
at that solution - might help me with a problem that has been bugging me for
a while where backup to USB Ext Drives are concerned.

Well, this would be a solution, but I'd have to keep an eye on the pool size
and correct space problems manually but I'm searching for a fully automated
solution. Did some additional research on this topic and found the
"vchanger" script by Josh Fisher. As far as I understood that stuff, it uses
a virtual changer consisting of multiple magazines(a magazine is one usb
drive) with multiple tapes(folders). In the corresponding document called
"Bacula Removable Disk Howto" it is also described how to set up udev and
autofs to mount the different usbdrives(virtual magazines) every time to the
same location. Looks pretty good, but this method has one downside: I need
to do a backup spanning over several magazines. Maybe someone here has a
solution for this kind of problem.
