Attribute spooling will help considerably when you are backing up a
lot of files especially because you have a very old version of bacula
that does not have the batch processing patch. Also since you have a
slow network (less than 1/2 the bandwidth of the tape drive) data
spooling will help the guaranteed tape stop / starts but it probably
will increase the time of the backup because spooling does not read
and write concurrently. I would turn on attribute spooling however.
