Got another one for you guys; disk alignment.
There's much talk about "aligning" disks in order to maximize disk
performance.
Truth to tell, I don't quite understand how to do it (calculation-wise), and
then deciding when and if I should do it when reading the how-to articles
Google finds for me.
Is there any filesystem, or applet, that can do this automatically for me?
