And that page says it needs tar 1.19.90 or newer. F8 hasn't caught up with
that one yet, probably never will.

Humm, odd:
[root@coyote log]# man amgtar
No manual entry for amgtar
but
[root@coyote log]# ls -l /usr/local/libexec/amanda/application/amgtar
-rwxr-xr-x 1 amanda disk 8994 2008-09-27
23:04 /usr/local/libexec/amanda/application/amgtar
so it is from the newest 2.6.0p2.
Must be time I start following 2.6.1, any gotcha's?
