Re: amdump - backup error

After looking into this some more, I tried the following:
- running the backup command in the log/debug file manually
from the command line: root@melbourne:/usr/bin# backup
Osf
1048576
and got the following error message (also in the log
file): backup: Extra argument. Try backup --help for more
info.
- when I run the '--help' option:
root@melbourne:/usr/sbin#
backup --help
usage: backup [OPTIONS] [WHEN]
Options are:
-l, --level=LEVEL Do backup level LEVEL (default
0).
-f, --force Force backup even if today's log
file already
exists.
-v, --verbose[=LEVEL] Set verbosity level. Default
100.
-t, --time=TIME Wait till TIME, then do backup.
Informational options:
-h, --help Display this help message.
-L, --license Display program license.
-V, --version Display program version.
Optional argument WHEN is for backward compatibility
only. It has been
superseded by --time option.
TIME argument can be one of:
now -- do backup immediately.
HH -- do backup at HH hours.
HH:MM -- do backup at HH:MM.

root@melbourne:/usr/sbin#
So, the options that the 'backup' command that 'amdump'
runs (backup Osf 1048576) is incorrect... How can this be
fixed/changed?
Thanks again,
-jg
