My setup is one server, data on software-based mirror on two SATA HDDs,
a separate PATA HDD used as holdingdisk, vtapes on external USB HDDs.
Taping speed (from holdingdisk to external HDD) is about 20 MB/s.
Dumping speed varies greatly, but for level 0s of larger DLEs I see up
to 11 MB/s if using software compression and up to 25 MB/s if not using
software compression).
