Yes, it does.

Amanda uses the gnutar option --listed-incrementals" for that.

Both GNUTAR and DUMP support incrementals (although some dump
implementations can only count to 9).

I am reffering to Partial full backup. Where every amdump will backup
a part of backup data. I agree to you that both programms support
incremental backup.
Please clearify me about partial backup.

Are you thinking that Amanda will backup only part of *one* DLE in full?
No it does not.
You have to break up the client in (at least) all the mountpoints,
and, if needed, use gnutar and break up into more subdirectories.
Each such entry needs to be added to the disklist file in Amanda,
hence the name "disklist entry" or DLE for short.

Then Amanda will schedule each DLE according to the constraints
you give it: e.g. "dumpcycle 14" and "runspercycle 10", meaning
that once every two weeks, Amanda schedules a full backup of each DLE.
However not all DLE's of one machine have a full backup on the same day. All the DLE's of all the machines are juggled around so that each day
about 1/10th of the amount of full backups is performed.

If one DLE happens to contain 50% of all data, then one day Amanda
must do all that complete DLE at once (and probably not schedule
anything else for a full dump). Amanda will not divide the DLE
itself. It expects that an intelligent person, having read the
manual, and understanding GNUTAR or DUMP has prepared the list of
things todo.
