Sorry to have disturbed you :-(

FYI. I've been running Amanda for at least 5 years, but with a single
tape drive per instance. So all this changer/RAIT/vtape functionality
is all new to me.

Also sorry if I seem to be slow to understand the explanations various
knowledgeable people have posted here.
