Thanks... I just installed 1.14.2 and see what happens
1.14.1 was not in the tree and I'm too lazy to go grab
it from somewhere else :~)

I am using Amanda-2.4.4p3 with (GNU) tar 1.13.93 on my linux
(Debian) machines.

I am aware of the origins of the date, but dont know if
I should maybe upgrade/downgrade the tar version to
get rid of the message. I havent seen a posting on this
since I have been on the mailing list, so I apologize
for any rehash. :~)

Thanks for any input...

Perhaps no postings about the specific problem,
but lots where the response was to use 1.13.25,
1.13.19, or maybe 1.14.1. Latter one is fairly
new, so "my" jury is still out deliberating :)
