and incrementals every other day.
Everyone except after seeing Amanda do it :-) , and then you wonder why
others don't do it the way she does...
Yes at first it seems strange having full backups spread all over your
tapes, but in reality it works very good!
But yes, it hurts when you realize that you bought that expensive 80GB
superfast backup tapedrive to be able to hold your full backups on
sunday, and then Amanda does a better job using only 15 GB each day, and
is finishing her daily task in four hours on the low end DDS4 or AIT-1
tape drive... (You can still use your large tapedrive on sunday to
make archive backups, always full :-)
