NMC is NetWorker Management Console.
 
It is a JAVA web start application that includes a generally better, in my
humble opinion, Admin GUI and a reporting package.
 
It can report on multiple, or single, NetWorker servers.
 
The Server can run on Windows 2000 or 2003, Solaris, or Linux
 
The GUI can run on just about anything that supports JRE 1.4-2 with web
start (One of my colleagues has it running on a Mac)
