More interesting info. I checked my groups and they are set to 'No save
Index' and what is being saved on a different (default poo) is part of
the savesets on that client and not the indexes.

Here's how my client is setup:

Border2

savesets are
SYS:
LOG:
Server Specific Info

During backups LOG: and Server Specific Info writes to Novell Pool
tape, but somehow SYS: goes to a default tape, after the backup, the
indexes are saved on Novell pool.

Librado

You could set up a separate pool for your indexes, then configure your
backup groups not to save indexes and create a separate client resource
for
your backup server which explicitly saves the indexes; the pool
criteria
for your index pool is a list of save sets (the indexes).

I'd be interested if there is a more simple or elegant solution.

Greetings,
Ingo
