Thanks. I think its "scsi_mod max_luns=256" but that made no
difference either after I put that in and rebooted.
After answering I took a look at the original question and your
problem is really that the devices show up as Type: Processor, not
Type: Tape and Type: Autochanger.
jbconfig only looks for Autochangers.
Could it be that you see only some kind of FC/SCSI bridging device
(SCSI ID=0) and not the "real" devices at all?
It turned out that I failed to connect a SCSI terminator and a cable
between the tape library's fibre channel option and a SCSI port. I
got that working and I am now able to use NetWorker to set up a tape
library resource and it loads tapes via "nsrjb" but unloading tapes
doesn't work. I was told by Qualstar's tech support that this problem
is due to faulty drive mapping.
Does anyone know how to fix that? I have googled and checked this
list's archives, but I came up empty handed. EMC's PowerLink has some
information on how to do it with Solaris, but even the NetWorker 7.2
admin guide shows the Solaris way, which won't work on Red Hat Linux.
