Perhaps my initial message was too long, but that's the first thing I
tried !

The reason why at first it was still a 2.4.4 client is that I have
something like a hundred
of clients, and some of them are not managed by me. Upgrading them all
of them at
the same time is just impossible (or really hard). And as far as I can
see, the 2.4.4 FD
is working really fine with more recents DIR/SD. My problem is definitly
on the network
side between my FD and SD.
