As kernel debugging can be a bit of a challenge, I suggest...

... you first get the versions in sync. They don't exactly fit well to 
each other, and I would expect trouble with such a big difference in 
versions.

That should not cause a kernel crash, though, but if it did that would 
indicate more a kernel issue than a Bacula bug IMO.
