Hi List,

I would appreciate any help i'll get from u guys.
Since i upgraded my linux box (ubuntu gutsy to hardy LTS) bacula-fd 
causes my machine to freeze. if a job is started by the director and it 
connects to the file daemon on that particular machine the screen goes 
black all of a sudden. Needless to say bacula worked like charm for 
months before the version upgrade.

no logs are beeing created as u can see by syslog:

May  8 15:17:01 teal /USR/SBIN/CRON[17677]: (root) CMD (   cd / && 
run-parts --report /etc/cron.hourly)
May  8 15:41:55 teal -- MARK --
May  8 16:01:33 teal syslogd 1.5.0#1ubuntu1: restart.

i need to hard-reset the box in order to get it working again.

May that be a version issue ? the Director (on different machine) is 
Version: 1.36.2 and the file daemon on my ubuntu gutsy is 
2.2.8-5ubuntu7. Any 1 experienced same troubles before ? what solutions 
come into your mind ? i dont wanna rollback to ubuntu gutsy again, just 
because bacula-fd causes my box to freeze.
