My main desktop machine is running openSUSE 10.3 x86_64. The amanda
version provided from the openSUSE repositories, and which is installed
here is version 2-5-2p1, which matches the Windows client version running
on the Toshiba Qosmio G30 laptop.

No logfile has been generated yet - possibly because no backup has
happened yet.

Would it help to post all my .conf files?

Many thanks for your interest in my problem
