     Yo !  Just set the clients to NO on the "can delete backups" and on
     the "can delete archives"
     Situation cured..... then YOU as the administrator can still go in and
     do a "delete filespace blah blah...."

     PS this will also prevent an angry node admin from deleting all their
     backups, formatting all their disks and walking out the door.... ;-)

Two thoughts:

One, this sounds like the Universal Security Delimma.  If I give someone
access to my files, how do I know he won't do something bad to them?

Two, distributing software may be something you _can_ do with ADSM,
but that is not what ADSM is designed for.
