Hmm...

I just started using a DLT on a Solaris system. I'm using the "default"
entries for DLT 4000's that were in the st.conf file.. Are these sufficient?
Should I be using others?

What's your tape media, and what's the OS of your media servers?

I've seen this problem with DLT media before on Solaris. It was due to
an incorrect st.conf. Fixing that up fixed the time waits.
