Hello,
I typically use GUI & relocate that has always worked, however, i do one
ssid ( file\folder etc) at a time, for you cmd line recover may work
better, please go through the man page and adjust but here is the starter.
recover -a -S -d D:\restore -q
You may want to use -I ( input file) if that works better for you.
-d will relocate data locally to D:\restore or any mapped drive if you
specify that.
you can use multiple -S to do more then one ssid restore, as long as -d is
same location and there is no conflict with saveset name you are
recovering.
However, to take this further each saveset could have it's own cmd line
argument and recover them individually allowing you more flexibility.
You should not have to specify saveset name as ssid will cover that
aspect.
HTH

It isn't. :-)

I have this:

mminfo -avot -q volume=891995 -r ssid,client,name
 ssid client name
1005228109 server1 D:\users\user10
988451398 server2 F:\users\user1
971674357 server2 F:\users\user2
954897145 server2 F:\users\user3
938120396 server2 F:\users\user4
921343351 server2 F:\term exec office employees\user5
904566160 server2 F:\term exec office employees\user6
887788970 server3 F:\users\user7
871011848 server4 H:\Users\user8
854234898 server4 H:\Users\user9
837457726 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user1.nsf
820680792 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user2.nsf
803903701 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user3.nsf
787127119 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user4.nsf
770350022 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user5.nsf
753573057 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user6.nsf
736795955 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user7.nsf
720018773 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user8.nsf
619355875 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user9.nsf
602578659 server5 E:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\user10.nsf

I want to restore all these savesets above to one location, and do it with

one command.

I have used the GUI client to recover data, and re-direct to other
locations. In this case, I do not want to start a recover of the info from

client server1, redirect to elsewhere. Start another recover job, from
client server2, to another location, etc.

I want to recover everything on the tape volume listed above, to another
location (i.e., to F:\Redirected-Folder on the backup server).

Hope that's clearer.
