The volume is recylced, according to the media database. So I guess I
would need to do a "scanner -m" ?. I do see the saveset contents of the
volume in the NW console GUI.

Well, I did try and just do the restore from the client (figuring that if
the entries were still in the media database, all I would need to do is
chnage the browse time, and NW would just tell what volumes I would need.
However, it tells me it has no entries for that time period. Meaning no
media database. (that's what led me to look and see that the volume is
marked as "recycled" in the media db).

I do happen to have the SSID (there's only 1 apparently); I see it listed
in the NW GUI, in the "volumes" section.
SO do I still need to do a "scanner -m", or can I do a "scanner -c LOTUS
-S 123456789", since that's the only saveset I want? And once I do that, I
can go to the client, change the browse time to the time period of the
saveset in question, and be able to do a directed restore?
