What is the best way to get Bacula to unmount and eject the tape when the job is complete then email me to change the tape?

maybe the "Offline on unmount" directive is for you?

http://www.bacula.org/en/dev-manual/Storage_Daemon_Configuratio.html#9485

I would recommend against that option. It has some very strange
effects which I found difficult to tame, like ejecting volumes
only to request the same volume again immediately.

Perhaps the "Faking an auto-changer" recipe in the Wiki at

http://wiki.bacula.org/doku.php?id=sample_configs#faking_an_auto-changer_with_one_tape_drive

works better. I haven't found the time to try it yet.
