Hi all,

Bacula 2.2.8 on Solaris 9.

I have just changed to a new tape library & moved all the media from the
old library to the new one.  The new library presents the media IDs with
8-digit barcodes, instead of the 6 digits presented by the old library.
Is there a way to change the Volume Names?  I can't see that "update
volume" has an option for this.

I guess I could change them using SQL, but don't want to muck anything
up - though it looks like the Volume Name is not used as the key.
Alternatively should I be running "update slots scan"?
