That is because backuppc could read other home directory ( /home/joep
). So, login and joep on that local station, open terminal and follow
my instruction before:

su backuppc (no password as you say or key in password if asked)
ssh-keygen -t rsa
ssh-copy-id -i ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub user@remote-host ([email protected])
