alpha# su -m backuppc
alpha# id
uid=300(backuppc) gid=300(backuppc) groups=300(backuppc)
Also sudo is available from ports: security/sudo
alpha# sudo -u backuppc id
uid=300(backuppc) gid=300(backuppc) groups=300(backuppc)
